Steve,
How’s that thing coming along? Not heard from you in a while. Probably too hot to work on anything down there? We need some pictures!
Bram
Bram,
I’ll get that camera out!! I’ve not been doing much lately as the steel garage door faces west so if it is 35 C outside it is around 40 C in the garage.
However I’m back on the job this week - holidays over and it is time that the garage got some use for vehicles again!
Nearly all the fittings are on. I need to fit the forestay, the spinnaker halyard cleat block, centre & side rails and the pieces around the transom for the rudder and I’m ready to fit the deck to the hull.
‘Lo Steve
It’s Don McIntyre from the great white north where it’s currently -12c, and yesterday was -15c… so much for global warming.
Like Bram, I’ve been wondering about your progress too.
Don
Hi Don,
I’m back on the job. i actually worked on the boat last night! The hatches are screwed into the deck now and I cleaned up the centre rail ready for installation. I can’t find the camera to take shots but will do so when it turns up.
It was fun, and looking at the project - I’m not that far off. I just need to keep doing a little job every day.
Are you building or just thinking about it?
Cheers,
Steve
